Cape Cod Community College: Officials Cancel Morning Classes After Bomb Threat

Local and state police will search the school for explosives after a bomb threat was found written on a wall at the West Barnstable campus, reports say. The Hyannis Center will remain open.

Classes at Cape Cod Community College have been cancelled Monday due to a threat made to the campus.

Massachusetts State Police spokesperson David Procopio said the bomb squad, Troop D authorities, K-9 units, firefighters and local police officers will begin search the campus at sunrise.

Authorities said a written threat was found on campus property. Since the school was empty Sunday evening, a decision was made to wait for daylight to search.
